7 New Advocates Sworn In on Feb. 7th 2023!

On a rainy Tuesday in Belton (TX), 7 brand new CASA advocates were sworn in by Judge Cornish at the Bell County Courthouse! The new advocates completed their 30 hours of pre-service training, 3 hours of court observation, and all necessary background checks.

Family members and friends were able to attend the swearing-in ceremony in person at the Courthouse and also virtually over Zoom, as the new advocates took their Oath promising to serve impartially and objectively, and that while carrying out their duties as a CASA, their paramount concern will be the best interest of the child (or children) to whom they are assigned.
