Pre-Service Training

Each in-training Advocate will need to attend all of the classes for the session.  Applicants are required to complete 30 hours of initial training and 3 hours of CPS court observations.  Upon completion of the training requirements and thorough background checks, volunteers will be sworn in by Bell County Centex Child Protection Court Judges or Child Protection Court of the Hill Country Judge as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and begin their journey of changing a child’s story.
