Child Abuse Prevention Month
April 30 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month – Blue Ribbon Campaign
April is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month, and CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties is inviting our community to stand up for children who need a voice. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, stable, and nurturing home—but in our local community alone, nearly 1,000 children are currently in the foster care system due to abuse or neglect.
To raise awareness and support for these children, we are launching our Blue Ribbon Campaign, and you can participate by purchasing a Child Abuse Prevention Awareness shirt for $20 (presale only) or a blue ribbon ($5) to be displayed on our online gallery as well as in our office windows
The blue ribbon is the national symbol for child abuse prevention. It represents the story of a grandmother who tied a blue ribbon to her car antenna as a reminder of the bruises her grandson suffered from abuse. Today, the blue ribbon stands as a powerful symbol of hope, awareness, and our collective commitment to protecting children.
Shirt Details:
• $20 presale only
• Must be picked up at the CASA office
• Available for a limited time during the campaign
This year’s Blue Ribbon Campaign will be both virtual and in-office, making it easy for everyone in our community to get involved. Whether you wear a shirt, display a ribbon, or share the campaign online, your support helps spread awareness and strengthens advocacy for children in foster care.
Want to do even more?
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers are trained community members who advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. By becoming a CASA volunteer, you can change the trajectory of a child’s life by ensuring their voice is heard in court and beyond. Learn more at casabellcoryell.org
Together, we can build a community where every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
Join the movement. Wear blue. Spread awareness. Be a voice for children.
