CASA Receives Donation from Purvis Industries in Temple

Purvis Industries of Temple recently made a donation to CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties. Kurt Anderson, Outside Sales Director for Purvis, presented the agency with a check for $1,266.00 which represented part of the proceeds from the annual Purvis Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament that was held in April.

The donation was made to help CASA support National Foster Care Month in May and the funds will be used to provide advocacy services and support for children that CASA advocates work with. Anderson stated that “Purvis has a long history of donating to various non-profit organizations and he wanted to help CASA continue their important efforts to advocate for children while they are in the foster care system. He added that the golf tournament was a huge success and allowed Purvis to make the donation to CASA during a month when making others aware of the needs for more volunteers and more foster care families in Central Texas is extremely important.”

CASA is extremely appreciative of the new donation and looks forward to partnering with Purvis Industries on other projects in the future. If your civic club or company would like to support the children that CASA serves, please contact the CASA office at 254-774-1881.
