Vista Real Estate recently made a $7,000 donation to CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties. The donation was made possible from the proceeds of the 9th annual Vista Real Estate Golf Tournament that was held in September.
Vista held their company Christmas luncheon on Wednesday, December 6th to present three local non-profits with gifts from the golf tournament funds. CASA, Communities in Schools, and the Temple Junior Wildcat organizations were all presented checks for $7,000 thanks to the fundraising efforts of Vista Real Estate. Vista hosts the golf tournament each year to provide support for local non-profits and 100% of the funds raised are given out to various organizations in Central Texas.
Vista agent Bret Friemel is the golf tournament chair and Vista staff members Kayla Clayton and Caroline Conway are the golf tournament organizers. The 2023 event sold out with 55 teams participating at Mill Creek Golf Course in Salado. Key sponsors of the event included Monteith Abstract and Title, Cory Herring Homes, Boley Foundation Repair, 1st Texas Bank, Turley Associates, Denali Construction, Capital Farm Credit, and Custom Signs.
CASA plans to utilize the donated funds for direct support services for the children served by CASA volunteer advocates. Denise Hanley, Program Director at CASA, attended the check presentation and provided a message of thanks to the Vista Real Estate staff and agents. “Gifts like this are special to CASA and allows us to continue recruiting new volunteers and supporting the efforts of our current volunteers as they advocate for the well being and best interests of our CASA kids. These funds are especially helpful in the Christmas season as we try to assist all of our children and many of their families in providing gifts and Christmas cheer when most of them would not be able to do so without our help” stated Hanley. “We are so grateful for the support of our partners like Vista Real Estate. This is a true blessing for our agency. ”
