10 New Advocates sworn in on June 1, 2021

Please give a huge welcome to CASA of Bell & Coryell Counties newest Advocates.  The swearing in was held on June 1, 2021 with Judge Chris Cornish preforming the swearing in.  This group of people have participated in weeks of training, observed hearings, completed homework and practiced filling out court reports as part of their commitment to “Change a Child’s Story” for the abused and neglected children of Bell & Coryell Counties foster care system.  They have made a choice to be there for these children because they want to be–to guide the case through the courts, to make recommendations about what is truly best for that child so they can find a safe, permanent, loving place to grow up.  Our next training class begins on June 15, 2021. If you are wanting to join these exceptional volunteer Advocates, please reach out to us.  Lolita Gilmore and Tiana Motton would love to talk to you about the difference we know you can make.
