DESCRIPTION:Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month – Blue Ribbon Campaign \n\n\n\nApril is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month\, and CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties is inviting our community to stand up for children who need a voice. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe\, stable\, and nurturing home—but in our local community alone\, nearly 1\,000 children are currently in the foster care system due to abuse or neglect. \n\n\n\nTo raise awareness and support for these children\, we are launching our Blue Ribbon Campaign\, and you can participate by purchasing a Child Abuse Prevention Awareness shirt for $20 (presale only) or a blue ribbon ($5) to be displayed on our online gallery as well as in our office windows \n\n\n\nThe blue ribbon is the national symbol for child abuse prevention. It represents the story of a grandmother who tied a blue ribbon to her car antenna as a reminder of the bruises her grandson suffered from abuse.
