TXB Convenience Stores Makes Donation to CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties
TXB convenience stores recently presented a check for $2,000 to CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties. TXB owns several stores in the Central Texas region.
TXB annually hosts the Doyce Taylor Memorial McCraw Oil/TXB Golf Tournament and Fishing tournament each year on Lake Texoma and proceeds from these events are distributed to multiple CASA offices throughout Texas. The 2023 events raised over $100,000 for TXB charities.
Sherry Capehart is the coordinator of events for TXB and made the check presentation to CASA Executive Director Kevin Kyle. While presenting the tournament proceeds, Capehart expressed her appreciation for the services CASA provides to area children. “TXB partners with CASA offices around the state and we enjoy supporting the advocacy efforts that each local agency provides to abused and neglected children in their area. TXB is trying to help CASA make a difference, one child at a time” stated Capehart.
Kyle stated that donations like the funds received from TX Bare vital to growing the local agency, adding more volunteers, and providing direct services to support the children that CASA serves. “We are so grateful for the partnership and financial support that TXB has provided to CASA, it has helped make a difference in our recruiting and awareness success over the past few years” stated Kyle. “The timing is huge for us with the upcoming holiday season as we make sure gifts for all of our CASA children are provided for during the holidays.”
CASA wishes to thank TXB for their generosity again this year. If your company or organization would like to help CASA make a differences for the abused and neglected children served by CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties click the link below.
